The Promise of the Father 2026 in Redhill

As 2026 progresses and we journey towards Easter, we are invited once again into the mystery of Christ’s transforming love. This season always reminds us that renewal is possible. Just as the first warmth of spring coaxes the buds to open in beauty, so too does the grace of Jesus draw each of us into deeper life. We receive Him in the Eucharist — the Source and Summit of our faith — and through the Holy Spirit, that grace unfolds within us. Each one of us is seen, known, and loved by the Father, who created us in beauty and calls us to flourish. His Spirit empowers us to grow, to serve, and to offer our lives back to Him.

This is the heart of The Promise of the Father, the A&B Life in the Spirit Seminar for 2026, hosted by St Joseph’s Catholic Church in Redhill and the Arundel and Brighton Diocesan Charismatic Service of Communion (CDSC) Team. Beginning on 14th April 2026 at 7:30pm, this journey over seven sessions prepares us to receive this grace more deeply and to open our hearts to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit as we approach Pentecost. Sessions will be available online for those unable to travel.

The seminar offers a space for personal encounter with God’s love — something many Catholics long for without always knowing how to find it. Participants often speak of discovering a peace and warmth that feels deeply personal, as though God were speaking directly to them. The Life in the Spirit Seminar helps people move from knowing about God to experiencing His presence in a living, heartfelt way. It is a gentle but powerful invitation to let the Holy Spirit renew and refresh us .

People who have attended Life in the Spirit Seminars in the past describe them as turning points in their spiritual lives. They speak of discovering hope again, finding confidence in prayer, recognising their God‑given gifts, and feeling called to live their faith with renewed purpose. Grace is not reserved for a select few, it is offered to all. This seminar is an opportunity to receive what the Father longs to pour out namely His never-ending Love. The seminar also offers a sense of belonging, as small groups create a space where people feel seen, heard, and supported. Faith grows best when shared, and many find lasting friendships through the journey.

The teaching this year is offered by a wonderfully gifted group of speakers who bring depth, clarity, and pastoral warmth. The speakers include Fr Terry Martin, Deacon Phil Richardson, the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal, Michelle Moran and Fr Raymond Tumba. There will be a special celebratory Mass on 23rd May, the eve of Pentecost where there will be laying on of hands for the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the seminars concludes on 2nd June where we will together reflect with joy on the good things that we have received.

Registration is now open [Booking Form].
Whether you join us in person at Redhill or online from home, we look forward to welcoming you to what promises to be a life‑changing encounter with the Holy Spirit.
